Silk care questions
Can I really machine wash it?
Yes. Use cold water and a delicate cycle, place the silk inside the included mesh laundry bag, and choose a mild, pH-neutral detergent made for silk. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Hang dry in the shade and always follow the care label.
What makes silk sheets machine washable?
Our 22 momme silk has about 16% more silk than the common 19 momme weight, and heavier silk wears more slowly. Its Grade 6A long, even fibres leave fewer loose ends, so the fabric is less prone to pilling and able to handle machine washing. Wash it cold on a delicate cycle in the included mesh laundry bag, and hang dry in the shade.
